    Kirsteen is on the Kennel Club A1 Breed Specialist list for Newfoundland judges and is qualified to award Challenge Certificates in the UK. She also awards the FCI's CACIBs in Europe to Newfoundlands. Having first judged at Championship level in the UK in 2005, Kirsteen has awarded CCs on six occasions and has judged abroad at several Newfoundland Club Shows.

    Kirsteen has a keen interest in judging other breeds at Open Shows and has judged both the Working Group and Best in Show at Open Show level.

    In addition to show judging, Kirsteen also judges Working Tests at Section E in Water tests and at Level 4 in Draught tests.

    Alan judges Working Tests at the highest levels, he is an experienced 'Senior' judge for both Section E in Water tests and Level 4 in Draught tests.

    Having always maintained an interest in working activities both Alan and Kirsteen have served on the Clubs' Working Committees and have had an involvement in the formal reviews of the tests over the years.
